Oil Spill Response Boats

Our Fast Response landing craft can be provided for oil spill duties and outfitted with towing post, oil containment boom and oil skimmers. The proven hull form can carry a range of loads and offers a large deck area with a bow ramp for ease of loading equipment from the shore.  These aluminum workboats maneuver well in shallow or open water conditions. Engine options include twin outboard motors or jet drives. Recognizing that oil spill response may require beaching or near-shore operations, water jet drives are also available. These impressive multipurpose workboats can typically achieve 40 to 50 knots, depending on choice of propulsion options. These workboats can also be configured with a simple console arrangement or a fully enclosed cabin for crew. These response boats are designed for oil spill and commercial applications. Features available include a heavy-duty davit and winch system, tow-frame for boom towing and bow door/ramp that allows loading and unloading from the shore.

The ODC (Oil Debris Collection) vessel is a customized aluminum catamaran workboat with integrated oil recovery system. The garbage scoop at the front can screen debris from the oil before it is skimmed.

We also offer catamaran vessels with large working decks and cranes for supporting oil spill operations.  Both in coastal and offshore versions they can carry boom reels and double as crew boats and supply / maintenance vessels.
